How is Bangladesh EMS customs handled?

Every international EMS item carries a CN23 customs declaration, which the Bangladesh Post Office requires to be completed in capital English letters and Arabic numerals only. The form lists contents and declared value, which the destination customs authority uses to assess duty and tax. Any import charges are the recipient's responsibility and usually must be paid before the item is released.
