How much are customs duties and taxes on parcels to Chile?
Chile applies a duty-free de minimis of about US$30; below it, low-value shipments are generally exempt. Above it, a 19% value-added tax (IVA) applies, plus a general import tariff of around 6% on most goods, calculated on the CIF value. Goods qualifying under the United States-Chile Free Trade Agreement can enter duty-free, though IVA may still apply.
