My Deutsche Post DHL tracking is not updating or seems stuck. What should I do?

First, confirm you typed the number correctly. If the status still shows only "order data received," the sender may not have handed the item to DHL yet. For parcels in transit, gaps of a day or two are normal, especially over weekends, holidays, or during customs clearance on international shipments. International postal items often go quiet after the export scan and update again near delivery. If there is no movement for more than a week on a domestic parcel, or well beyond the expected window internationally, contact the sender or DHL customer service to open an inquiry.
