What do the EE, RR, and CP prefixes mean?

EE indicates an EMS (Express Mail Service) item, RR indicates registered mail such as letters and small registered packets, and CP indicates international parcel post for heavier merchandise. These prefixes are the standard UPU service indicators; the prefix shows the broad mail class but does not by itself guarantee a specific delivery speed or fee.
