In the alphanumeric form the leading letters name the route rather than the parcel. Both forms are frequently called the track code (trek-kod), consignment number, or simply the waybill number, and any of these labels points at the same identifier.

When entering the number, the digits and letters run together with no spaces, hyphens or punctuation. A number keyed in with gaps or dashes will not resolve, so the string is copied exactly as printed on the waybill.

Numbers issued during the years the carrier traded as GTD share the same structure, which is why an older code still resolves today. The format did not change with the 2022 rebrand, so a 10-digit or route-coded waybill from either era works in the current tracking field.
