Why does my Aliexpress order say 'Shipped' but no tracking is available?

When your Aliexpress order shows “Shipped” but no tracking information appears, it usually means the parcel has been processed by the seller but has not yet been fully registered in the carrier’s tracking system. The most common reasons include:

1. The seller created a shipping label but the carrier hasn’t scanned the package yet.
Tracking will only activate after the first physical scan at the logistics facility. This can take 24–72 hours, sometimes longer during busy seasons.

2. The tracking number was uploaded late.
Some sellers mark orders as shipped immediately but add the tracking number later, once the parcel enters the logistics network.

3. The shipping method does not include full tracking.
Economy services like Cainiao Super Economy, Cainiao Saver, or unregistered China Post often show limited or no tracking events.

4. The tracking only works once the package leaves China.
Many Aliexpress shipments only start updating after export clearance and arrival at the destination country.

5. System delays on Aliexpress or the carrier side.
Tracking data may lag behind real-world movement, especially during holidays or sales events (11.11, Black Friday, Chinese New Year).

In most cases, tracking appears automatically within a few days. If no information shows after several days, you may contact the seller to verify that the package has been handed to the carrier.
